Get your knitting needles ready!
The 5th Annual Knit In for Anglicare WA has been confirmed to take place on Wednesday 9th July at Government House Ballroom from 9am to 3pm.
Once again this year, knitters from across the State will join the knitting frenzy, making sqares, blankets, clothing and toys for Anglicare WA's Winter Appeal.
Last year over 400 people came through the doors of the Ballroom and knitted 2,041 squares, 301 strips, 189 rugs and 112 other items (scarves, clothing dolls). It was a truly fun, fantastic and heart warming effort from all involved!
This year we hope you will be able to join us as part of this wonderful community event. Come along and enjoy a wonderful day of knitting, a cup of tea and a light lunch with friends, knowing that you are helping keep West Australians in crisis warm this winter.
For more information or to register your attendance, please contact us or phone the Knit In Hotline on 9319 6405.
